Philip Fetty joined the Wesleyan staff in 2011 as the Director of Sports Information and Promotions. He and his staff are responsible for the complete coverage of West Virginia Wesleyan’s 19 athletic teams. In his first season at the helm of the Bobcat Sports Information Department, he was also instrumental in the facilitation, organization, and design of Wesleyan’s new athletic website wesleyanbobcats.com.

Fetty joins the Wesleyan staff after spending over three years at Fairmont State University--where he moved up the ladder from student worker, to intern, and eventually to Assistant Sports Information Director, working under Adam Zundell. His responsibilities for the Falcons ranged from gameday statistics to recaps; he also did a significant amount of work organizing historical data.

Fetty earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Fairmont State in 2010, and added a Master's degree in Sport Management from West Virginia University in December 2011. He is also a member of CoSIDA.

He is married to the former Tera McDougal of Grafton. The couple resides in Fairmont.
