Tuesday's Contest with Valley Forge Switched to JV Contest

MYRTLE BEACH (S.C.) – The West Virginia Wesleyan varsity baseball opener with Valley Forge on Tuesday was switched to a junior varsity contest.

Wesleyan won the junior varsity contest against Valley Forge by a 16-0 score.

On Monday, the junior varsity Bobcats defeated Danville CC by a 7-3 score.

The junior varsity 'Cats also beat Hood Tuesday by a 16-0 score and took two games Wednesday.

They beat Cuyahoga CC by a 7-0 score and knocked off Sauk Valley CC by a 7-6 score.

The junior varsity 'Cats are 5-0 in South Carolina.

The varsity Bobcats have had eight home games cancelled because of the weather.

The varsity Bobcats will now open their season this Saturday against Urbana in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

The 'Cats will battle Urbana this Sunday in another doubleheader that will begin at 1 p.m.
