BRIDGEPORT -- Michael Anderson (West Virginia Wesleyan), Myles Humphrey (Shepherd) and Solomon Dixon (West Liberty) have earned Mountain East Conference Player of the Week honors for their play in the 10th week of the season.
Anderson, a senior from Elkridge, Md., is the MEC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after helping the Bobcats to a win over UVa-Wise. Anderson carried the ball 25 times for 193 yards with three touchdowns, and also caught a team-high six passes for 44 yards and another touchdown.
Humphrey, a junior from Upper Marlboro, Md., is the league's Defensive Player of the Week for his role in No. 3 Shepherd's win over No. 17 Fairmont State. He had four solo tackles on the day, but three went for sacks and he also had forced and recovered a fumble against the Falcons as the Rams secured at least a share of the MEC regular season title.
Dixon, a senior from Honolulu, Hawaii, is the MEC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts last week in West Liberty's win over Glenville State. Dixon blocked a field goal attempt at the end of the first half and then opened up the second half with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that gave the 'Toppers their first lead in the game in the win over the Pioneers.

Offense: Quinton Gray (WVSU) had 11 catches for 211 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw a touchdown and recovered an onside kick ... Malik Grove (NDC) was a tidy 21-of-24 for 198 yards with three touchdowns and had another TD on the ground ... Jeff Ziemba (SU) completed 14-of-25 passes for 192 yards and two scores ... Laurence King (FSU) had eight catches for a career-high 148 yards ... Kelly Carter (UU) had six receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown ... Anton McCallum (WLU) had touchdown receptions of 42 and 74 yards last week in a win over Glenville State ... D.J. Williams (GSC) had seven grabs for 107 yards and two TDs ... Brian Novak (CU) threw for 403 yards and five touchdowns for the Mountain Lions.
Defense: Ty Holmes had seve tackles, including two for a loss, and an interception and three pass breakups ... Vincent Cellis (NDC) was in on three tackles for a loss in NDC's win over Urbana ... Brandon Grayson (WVWC) had a game-high 10 tackles ... Duray Hill (UU) had a career-high 19 tackles, including nine solo with one for a loss ... Earon Settles (GSC) had nine tackles in a loss against West Liberty ... Zach Malone (CU) had 13 tackles and forced a fumble ... Marcus Porter (FSU) had 11 tackles, including one for a loss, against Shepherd.
Special Teams: Anton Vrebac (NDC) averaged 41.7 yards per punt, including a 61-yarder ... Zack Keaton (CU) was 6-for-6 on PATs and also made a 35-yard field goal.
