Amos Wilson joined the Wesleyan coaching staff in August 2011. Wilson was an independent trainer in Greenville, NC prior to making the move to Buckhannon. In Greenville he trained his brother C.J. who is a defensive end on the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.

Prior to becoming a personal trainer Wilson was the strength and conditioning coach at East Carolina. He also coached defensive line and outside linebackers at Louisburg College for one season.

Wilson spent three seasons coaching defensive backs at Dana College. He worked as a personal trainer for four years after college.

Wilson attended the University of New Mexico where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology in 2003. He spent two years playing arena football.
