Men's Golf Adds Surbaugh to 2017 Freshman Class

BUCKHANNON -- West Virginia Wesleyan men's golf team picked up another 2017 recruit. With the support of his family, Webster Spring's Gavin Surbaugh signed his letter of intent to join the Bobcat golf team next fall.

Head coach James Huber looks forward to Surbaugh joining the program.

"We are very excited that Gavin decided to join our program," Huber stated. "He will be a second generation Bobcat, as his mother is a graduate of Wesleyan. Gavin was a runner up the West Virginia Scholar and I know he will be a great leader for us. He has the characteristics in both academics and athletics that we are looking for" says Huber.
