Ripley is entering his first year as the head men's golf coach. He has worked in the Wesleyan Admission Office since 2008 and has served as the associate head baseball coach for the Bobcat baseball team.

Ripley particpated in both golf and baseball at Davis & Elkins and was named the Davis & Elkins Student-Athlete of the Year in 2006.

Ripley graduated from Davis & Elkins college in the class of '06.
