Alumni Update -- R.J. Sho-Silva

PHILADELPHIA – West Virginia Wesleyan 2015 graduate R. J. Sho-Silva began his professional career recently with the Philadelphia Fury of the American Soccer League.

Sho-Silva was named to the MEC All-First Team, the Daktronics All-Atlantic Second Team and the NSCAA All-Atlantic Second Team during his senior year.

He also earned the prestigious West Virginia Wesleyan Marvin Culpepper Senior Athlete Award last year.

Sho-Silva was a key figure defensively for the Bobcats last season and he also scored a goal and added a pair of assists.

The Fury are currently in first place early in the season with a 1-0-1 record.

The ASL began play in the August of 2014.

The ASL recently did a 13-question interview with Sho-Silva on its You Tube Channel.
