Men's Soccer Team Enters Regional Rankings This Week

BUCKHANNON – Ending the season on a five-game winning streak has propelled the West Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team into the NSCAA NCAA Division II Men's Atlantic Regional rankings for the first time this season.

Wesleyan checks in at No. 9 this week.

The Bobcats of head coach Gavin Donaldson currently own an 11-7 mark overall a 7-5 record in the Mountain East Conference.

They will enter the MEC Tournament on Thursday as the fourth seed and will play the top seed and the top regional team, the University of Charleston Golden Eagles.

Following Charleston in the regional rankings are MEC's Urbana Blue Knights in second, Mercyhurst (Pa.) in third and the MEC's Notre Dame College Falcons in fourth.

Gannon (Pa.), West Chester (Pa.), California (Pa.) and Millersville (Pa.) reside in front of Wesleyan.
