INSTITUTUE – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's tennis team earned their third consecutive Mountain East Conference win here Tuesday defeating the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets by a 9-0 score.

Wesleyan upped their season mark to 10-1 overall with the win and their MEC ledger to 3-0.

Ramon Rodriguez, Nathan Sabate, Pedro Nassar and Andre Fernandes each contributed singles and doubles points for the 'Cats.

Freshman Agustin Rossi (pictured), playing in his first varsity match, joined Anthony Rames as the other two Bobcats to pick up singles wins.

Wesleyan was scheduled to play Pikeville in Charleston earlier in the day, but the match was rained out after doubles play.

Wesleyan will now travel to Elkins on Thursday, and Morgantown on Saturday, for non-conference match-ups with Davis and Elkins and Daeman (N.Y.) College respectively.

Then the Bobcats will meet up with MEC preseason favorite, and defending conference champions West Liberty on Sunday.
