Rosenbeger Wins Pole Vault at Bethany Meet

BETHANY – With the main track roster at the William & Mary Invitational this past weekend, a small group of performers, mainly vaulters and a few non-qualifiers, attended the Bethany Invitational this past Saturday.

The small group came away with two individual wins.

In the pole vault on the women's side, Caysie Irving won the event clearing 3.20 meters.

Alexis Walsh took sixth in the event clearing 2.30 meters while Shania Lloyd earned seventh clearing 2.15 meters.

Rex Rosenberger won the men's pole vault clearing 4.20 meters.

Wesleyan's Nicholas Molina and Kyle Raines took third in pole vault (3.80) while teammate Alex Moss was sixth (2.65).

Moss also took fifth in the javelin throw with a heave of 45.09 meters.

Isaiah Robinson earned a second place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.20.

The track and field teams will reunite this Friday for a meet at Glenville State.
