XC Men 10th; Women Sixth in Latest Atlantic Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON -- Even though they didn't run last week, both the men's and the women's cross country teams made their mark in the latest NCAA Division II regional rankings.

The women moved up one spot from seventh to sixth place in the latest Atlantic Regional rankings.

The women are the lone Mountain East Conference team in the Top 10 of the Atlantic Region.

The men, who were unranked last week, cracked the Top 10 landing at No. 10.

Wheeling Jesuit, the lone other MEC in the rankings, is seventh.

The top three for both the men and the women will receive an automatic qualifying bid.

Both teams will return to action this Saturday when they run in the Slippery Rock Invitational.
