XC Men and Women Ranked This Week in Atlantic Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – Fresh off their victory in the Mountain East Conference, the West Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team reentered the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Rankings.

The men, who had falling out of the rankings a few weeks ago, reemerged as the No. 10 team.

The men are the lone MEC in the Atlantic Rankings.

PSAC schools take the rest of the spots including the top three which are Lock Haven in first, Shippensburg in second and Edinboro is third. The top three receive an automatic bid.

Despite winning the MEC Champions, the Lady Bobcats of head coach Jesse Skiles remain eighth this week in the Atlantic Regional rankings.

Like the men, the women are the lone team representing the Mountain East Conference.

The top three teams for the women are Edinboro, Bloomsburg and Shippensburg.

The men and women will compete again Saturday, Nov. 22 at Slippery Rock in the NCAA Regional Meet.
