Men's Cross Country Team Ranked Eighth In Regional Poll

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team cracked the latest USTFCCA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Cross Country rankings that were released today.

The men's team of head coach Jesse Skiles enters the rankings in the eighth spot this week.

It's the first time this year the Bobcats have been ranked regionally.

Wesleyan is the only Mountain East squad in the rankings as the other nine spots are held down by PSAC schools.

Lock Haven (Pa.) is ranked first while Shippensburg (Pa.) is second.

The Lady Bobcats, who dropped out the top 10 last week, did not reappear this week after a strong showing at the Lock Haven Invitational.

The men's and women's teams will compete again Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Glenville State College.
