Dearth Earns MEC Cross Country Runner of the Week Honors

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan's Matt Dearth and the University of Charleston's Cami Mossor have earned Mountain East Conference Runner of the Week honors for their efforts over the weekend.

Dearth, a sophomore from Bridgeport, W.Va., finished sixth at the Lock Haven Invitational over the weekend to lead the Bobcats to a fifth-place finish. Dearth covered the 8,000-meter course in 26:00 running at at 5:13 per mile clip at the site of this year's regional championship.

Mossor, a sophomore from Parkersburg, W.Va., won the Golden Eagle Invitational and led UC to the team title. She finished the 6,000-meter course with a time of 24:59.
