Cross Country 'Cats Fall One Spot in Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan men's cross country team dropped a spot in the latest USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Cross Country rankings this week.

Despite not running last week, the Bobcats dropped from ninth to 10th in this week's rankings.

Two Mountain East Conference members made huge jumps into the rankings this week.

Concord moved up five spots from 10th to fifth while Charleston was unranked last week moved into the seventh spot this week.

Shippensburg remains first in the regional rankings while fellow PSAC member Lock Haven stays in second.

Wesleyan will run again Saturday, Oct. 1 in the Greater Louisville Classic hosted by the University of Louisville.
