Softball Lady 'Cats Second In Atlantic Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The first set of NCAA Division II Softball Regional Rankings have been released and West Virginia Wesleyan is ranked second in the Atlantic Region.

Wesleyan had a 32-3 regional record and a 35-5 record (prior to yesterday's doubleheader sweep of Wheeling Jesuit) when the rankings were released.

West Chester is first in the Atlantic Region with a 32-3 regional mark and a 35-3 overall record.

West Chester is ranked 12th nationally while Wesleyan is ranked 16th.

Charleston and Concord are the only other Mountain East Conference teams in the regional rankings.

Charleston is third and Concord is ninth.
