Wesleyan Softball Team Remains Third in Atlantic Region

BUCKHANNON – The third set of NCAA Division II Softball Regional Rankings have were released Wednesday evening and West Virginia Wesleyan remains third in the Atlantic Region.

Wesleyan has a 42-5 regional record and a 45- 7 overall record.

West Chester is still first in the Atlantic Region with a 43-4 regional mark and a 46-5 overall record.

Charleston still holds onto the second spot with a 41-6 regional record and a 42-6 overall record.

Shepherd is the other Mountain East Conference team ranked regionally as they landed seventh this week with a 33-7 record.

Wesleyan will begin play in the MEC Tournament this Friday when they play Fairmont State at 2:30 p.m.
