Wesleyan Men Triumph Over Notre Dame
West Virginia Wesleyan men’s and women’s swim team was in action this weekend as they host Notre Dame College in a dual match. The men’s team was able to top the Falcons, 109-79. The women's team fell to Notre Dame 114-91.

West Virginia Wesleyan’s swim team was in action this weekend at Washington & Jefferson College. The men’s team came home with a 161 to 84 victory, while the women’s team suffered a 134 to 92 defeat.

Staniszewski Hired as New Swimming Coach
West Virginia Wesleyan College Director of Athletics Ken Tyler announced today the hiring of April Staniszewski as Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach/Director of Aquatics. Staniszewski replaces Mark Dziak, who resigned last month to accept the head coaching position at Notre Dame College (OH).

Pellerin Finishes NCAA Championship With 100 Free
Wesleyan men's swimmer Ian Pellerin concluded his NCAA Championship run on Saturday in the 100 yard freestyle. Pellerin also competed in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstoke this week.

Pellerin Wraps up Day One Action at NCAA Swim Meet
Wesleyan men's swimmer Ian Pellerin opened his 2011 NCAA championship run on Wednesday afternoon in the 50 yard freestyle. This is the second championship appearance for Pellerin after qualifying for the national meet last year.

Pellerin Gears up for NCAA Championship Swim Meet
Senior Wesleyan men's swimmer Ian Pellerin is gearing up for one last lap around the pool this week at the NCAA Championship meet in San Antonio, TX. Pellerin is making his second NCAA appearance after qualifying as part of the 400 yard freestyle relay team last year. He is the lone Bobcat at the meet.

Pellerin Qualifies for NCAA Swimming Championships
The Wesleyan men's swim team will be sending a swimmer to the NCAA Division II Championship meet for the second consecutive year. It was announced on Wednsday that senior Ian Pellerin has qualified in the 100 backstroke.

Men's Swim Team Ranked Eighth Nationally
The Wesleyan men's swim team is back in the national rankings this week following a solid performance at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship last week. Head coach Mark Dziak's Bobcats are ranked eighth in the Division II Avidasports Performance rankings.

Men's Swimming Finishes 7th; Women 11th at BMC
The Wesleyan men's and women's swim teams wrapped up the four day Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship on Saturday night. The Bobcat men finished 7th out of 13 with 246 points while the women concluded the 13 team meet in 11th with 98 points.

After day three of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimming Championships, the Wesleyan men sit in seventh place with 177 points while the women are 11th with 71 points. The Bluegrass Mountain Conference is made up of 13 schools.

Swimming Preview: 2/16-19 BMC Championships
The Wesleyan men's and women's swim teams will hit the pool for final swim together at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships beginning on Wednesday night. Last season the men's team finished seventh in the 13 team field while the women placed ninth among 14 teams.
