of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree (2009) in Sports

Coach Staniszewski brings a strong background in Stroke Technique
and Sports Psychology to the Bobcats. She has gained her knowledge
while acting as an Assistant Coach with the South Park Aquatic Club
and the Associate Coordinator of the Mt. Lebanon Learn to Swim
Program. She spent 1 year as a Volunteer Swimming coach at
her alma mater. She has spent the past 5 summers coaching at swim
camps at California University of Pennsylvania and Hartwick College
in New York working with young swimmers from the ages of 8 to
17.
Coach Staniszewski has learned over her swimming and coaching
careers that you need to coach a true
“Student-Athlete”. Her dedication to getting her
swimmers a quality education while providing a “First
Class” swimming program to compete in motivates her every
day. Coach Staniszewski’s enthusiasm and passion for the
sport of swimming is based on the simple premise of getting each
swimmer to be the “Best possible swimmer that he or she can
be” through an understanding of proper stroke technique,
drilling, and intense training. She also instills into her
student-athletes a simple philosophy of “Swim Smart + Have
Fun = Swim Fast”. Her focus for this new era of Bobcat
swimming is dedication and commitment in the classroom and in the
pool.
As a swimmer at California University of Pennsylvania, she served as Captain and represented Cal U at the NCAA National Championships. She was a school record holder in 4 events: 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke, 400 I.M., and the 1650 Freestyle (Pool Record). She was also an Academic All-American.
