Knotts Claims Third Straight Heptathlon Title

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Wesleyan senior Ashli Knotts captured her third consecutive league heptathlon title at the WVIAC multis this weekend in Glenville.The recent winner of Wesleyan's Culpepper Award, compiled 4326 points to edge runner up Janey Hall of Wheeling Jesuit (4163).

The Bobcats also garnered three other places on the women's side, as the trio of Adrian Cunningham, Amber Stewart, and Jaclyn Schiffour provided the Bobcats with a 4-5-6 finish to complement Knotts' victory.

Emerson Gagnon and Alan Crise placed fourth and fifth respectively on the men's side. Gagnon scored 5427 points, with Crise scoring 5402. Seton Hill's Anthony Phillips took home the victory with 5870 points.
