West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat’s golf team finished up their 2011 season this weekend at the 2011 WVIAC Women’s Golf Championship. The team ended the tournament in third place with a two day combined score of 683, merely missing second place by two strokes.

Borkovich Leads Women's Golf to 4th Place Finish
Wesleyan women's golfer Brittany Borkovich posted school records for tournament and 36-hole lows to lead the Bobcats to a fourth place finish at the ten team WVIAC Southern Regional. Borkovich's two-day score of 162 (82-80) also earned her All-WVIAC Second Team honors.

Women's Golf Comes up Shy in Bid For 2nd Straight
After winning the first tournament in program history on Monday, the Wesleyan women's golf team took to the course on Friday at St. Vincent in attempt for to keep the momentum going. The Bobcats closed in on the title but come up just short in second place, falling to WVIAC rival Seton Hill by four strokes.

The Wesleyan women's golf team made history on Monday afternoon at the Washington & Jefferson Southpointe Invitational. The Bobcats fired a score of 373 to a tournament for the first time in school history.

Women's Golf Finishes Third at John Barbour Invite
The Wesleyan women’s golf finished in third place at the Johnny D. Barbour West Virginia Wesleyan Invitational after shooting a day two score of 397 on Monday. The Bobcats kicked off the six team invitational on Sunday with a second place round of 370 but were unable to fend off a red hot Seton Hill squad for the runner-up position on the final day.

Women's Golf to Host Johnny D. Barbour Invitational
The Wesleyan women's golf team will host their annual spring golf meet on Sunday and Monday at Stonewall Jackson Resort. Formerly known as the Lady Bobcat Invitational, the meet has been renamed as the Johnny D. Barbour Invitational to honor the recent passing of the former Wesleyan coach.

Women's Golf 5th After First Round at Ohio Valley
Cold temperatures, wind, and soft conditions greeted the field for the first round of the Ohio Valley University Invitational being held at Oxbow Golf and Country Club just outside of Belpre, Ohio. As the day progressed the temperatures rose and the wind subsided but the “damage was already done” as scores began to balloon.
