Wesleyan Finishes WVIAC Women’s Golf Championship in Third
West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat's golf team finished up their 2011 season this weekend at the 2011 WVIAC Women's Golf Championship. The team ended the tournament in third place with a two day combined score of 683, merely missing second place by two strokes.
First place was grabbed by Wheeling Jesuit with a two day score of 659. Seton Hill University finished second with a score of 681.
Top performance for Wesleyan was by Krysten Badey. Badey was the only Bobcat to finish in the top ten, sitting in fourth place for the tournament with a two day score of 161. Badey also broke a school record, shooting a 78 on the first day.
Also, chipping in for the Bobcats was Brittany Brokovich who finished tied in 11th with a combined score of 168 and tied in 13th was Kathryn Alvaro with a two day score of 168.
