CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team picked up a huge road Mountain East Conference victory on Saturday over the University of Charleston Golden Eagles.
The Lady Bobcats won a 16-11 decision.
Wesleyan led at the break by a 9-6 score and then added to their lead in the second half outscoring Charleston by a 7-5 margin.
The win gave Hannah Lively's club a 2-1 record in the MEC and they are 4-8 overall.
The Lady Bobcats will return to action next Sunday when they host Shepherd in a MEC contest.
The game will start at 1 p.m.
