Lady Bobcats Move up to Fifth in Latest Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat soccer team moved up one spot this week in the latest NSCAA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings that were released today.

The Lady Bobcats moved up to fifth after being ranked sixth last week.

Wesleyan had a perfect 2-0 week last week with a pair of shutout wins.

 They defeated Urbana at home last Friday night by a 4-0 score and downed Shepherd at home Sunday by a 2-0 score.

The Lady Bobcats have a 6-0-2 record overall and a 5-0-2 record in the Mountain East Conference.

East Stroudsburg (Pa.) and West Chester (Pa.) remain first and second in the regional rankings.

Wesleyan will play again this Wednesday at home against California (Pa.) at 7 p.m. in a non-conference outing.
