BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat soccer team remained sixth in the latest NSCAA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings that were released Tuesday.
In Wesleyan's three games last week, they went 2-1 beating Concord and Wheeling Jesuit but dropping a home match to the University of Charleston.
The Charleston loss ended their 32-game regular-season winning streak.
The Lady Bobcats currently have an 8-1-3 record overall and a 7-1-3 record in the Mountain East Conference.
West Chester (Pa.) took over the top spot from East Stroudsburg (Pa.) who dropped to second in the regional rankings.
MEC teams ranked besides Wesleyan are University of Charleston in fifth and Notre Dame College in seventh.
Wesleyan will play again this Thursday at home against Fairmont State.
That game will start at 7 p.m.
