Lady Bobcats Fall to Seventh in Latest Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat soccer team dropped another spot in the latest NSCAA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings that were released Tuesday.

 Wesleyan had a 1-1 last week, beating Fairmont State at home by a 2-0 score but falling on the road to Notre Dame by a 2-0 score.

The Lady Bobcats currently have a 9-2-3 record overall and an 8-2-3 record in the Mountain East Conference.

West Chester (Pa.) remained number one while East Stroudsburg (Pa.) stayed second in the regional rankings. Kutztown stayed third while Edinboro is fourth.

Right ahead of Wesleyan are a pair of MEC teams – Charleston in fifth and Notre Dame College in sixth.

Wesleyan will play again this Thursday on the road against Shepherd University.

That game will start at noon.
