Lady Bobcats Remain Seventh in Atlantic Regional Rankings

BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat soccer team remained seventh in the latest NSCAA NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings that were released Tuesday.

This is the third straight week the Lady Bobcats have checked in at No. 7.

The Lady Bobcats posted a 1-0 week last week beating West Liberty by a 2-0 score on Senior Day.

Wesleyan currently has a 12-2-3 record overall and an 11-2-3 record in the Mountain East Conference.

West Chester (Pa.) remained number one while Kutzown (Pa.) stayed at No. 2 in the regional rankings.

Notre Dame College jumped up to third while Edinboro (Pa.) dropped to fourth as East Stroudsburg (Pa.) and the University of Charleston remained fifth and sixth respectively.

Wesleyan will begin play in the MEC Tournament tonight when they travel to the University of Charleston.

That game will start at 7 p.m.
