The fourth seeded Wesleyan women's tennis team was denied an opportunity to defend their WVIAC Championship on Friday, losing to fifth seeded Shepherd 5-3.
With the defeat, the Bobcats conclude the Fall schedule with an overall record of 7-4. Wesleyan will now move onto the offseason before returning to action in the Spring.
