Buckhannon, W.Va. -- The Wesleyan Volleyball team took an out of conference loss Tuesday night as the Seton Hill Griffins came to town. The Griffins earned the match with a 3-1 vicotry.
The Bobcats and Griffins traded points to begin the first set, ultimately, however the Griffins would make two runs to claim the point. In the second set, the lady Bobcats came out firing and capatalizing on some poor Griffin passing as they jumped out to an early lead. Despite several attacking attempts and some nice defensive play from Seton Hill the Bobcats wouldn't let them back in the set. Wesleyan would continue their great play and square things up with a second set win.
In the third and fourth matches, however, it would be the control of the front line for the Griffins that would earn them the next two sets and improve their overall recored to 14-3. Wesleyan hung in for the most part, but the experience for the Griffins would pan out in the end.
The Bobcats fall to 4-12 on the season and will be back in action Friday at home against conference foe, Charleston. Game time is set for 7pm.
