Volleyball Lady 'Cats Drop 3-1 Decision To Notre Dame

SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO -- The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team dropped a 3-1 road decision to Notre Dame in a MEC contest Friday night.

It was the MEC opener for Wesleyan.

The Lady Bobcats lost the first set by a 25-15 score but scrapped back to take the second set by a 25-18 score.

After dropping a hard-fought third set by a 25-23 score, Notre Dame ended the contest with a 25-20 victory in the fourth and final set.

The loss dropped the Lady Bobcats of head coach Jackie Hinton to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the MEC.

Wesleyan will have little time to rest as they return to action in Ohio Saturday as they face Urbana at 6 p.m. in another MEC tilt.
