Wesleyan Rebounds After Losing First Set to Defeat Concord, 3-1

BUCKHANNON -- The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat volleyball team won their third contest in a row with a 3-1 decision over the visiting Concord Lady Mt. Lions here Friday night.

The Lady 'Cats dropped the first set by a 25-19 score but rebounded to take the second set by a 25-19 margin.

Wesleyan never trailed in the third set taking it by the same identical 25-19 score.

The Lady 'Cats never trailed in the fourth set either, putting Concord away by a 25-15 score.

Wesleyan evened their MEC record to 3-3 and 4-7 overall.

Concord dropped to 0-5 in the MEC and 8-9 overall.

Wesleyan will have little time to rest as they return to action Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in a MEC clash with Virginia-Wise.
