Lady 'Cats Fall to UC in Volleyball Action, 3-0

CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the University of Charleston Golden Eagles here Friday night in a Mountain East Conference contest.

Wesleyan fell – 25-21, 25-15 and 28-26.

Caitlin Churn, Hannah King and Hannah Moore all had six kills for the Lady Bobcats.

Paulina Nottingham had 17 assists while Katlyn Buckland had 13.

Katlyn Hoge paced the team with 14 digs.

The loss dropped Wesleyan to 9-16 overall and 3-8 in the MEC.

They will return to action today when they visit West Virginia State.

That contest will begin at 3 p.m.
