Lady Bobcats Earn 3-1 Victory over West Virginia State

INSTITUTE – Following a tough loss to Charleston last night, the West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team rebounded with a convincing 3-1 win today over West Virginia State in a Mountain East Conference contest.

Wesleyan won in four sets – 25-19, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-17.

Wesleyan improved to 10-16 overall and 4-8 in the MEC.

The win kept Wesleyan in the hunt for a spot in the MEC Tournament which begins in two weeks.

The Lady Bobcats are currently in a tie for the eighth and final play-off spot with four conference games remaining.

They will stay on the road this Tuesday when they visit Glenville State.

The MEC contest will begin at 7 p.m.
