Volleyball Team Struggles in Warrior Invitational

DETROIT, Mich. – The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team played in their second tournament in as many weekends, traveling to Detroit and Wayne State University for the Wayne State University Warrior Invitational.

The Lady Bobcats had a tough go at in the Motor City as they were winless in four outings.

On Friday, Wesleyan dropped a pair of 3-0 decisions to Northwood (Mich.) (25-16, 25-16, 26-24) and Wayne State (25-11, 25-13, 25-20).

Today, the Lady 'Cats dropped a 3-2 decision to St. Joseph's (Ind.) (25-16, 15-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-10) and a 3-0 verdict to Seton Hill (26-24, 25-20, 25-16).

Wesleyan is now 1-7 on the season.

They will open their home schedule this Tuesday when they host Point Park at 7 p.m.
