Over 70 Youngsters Attend Wesleyan Volleyball Camp

BUCKHANNON -- New head volleyball coach Nancy Wheeler had an overwhelming response to her first West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat Volleyball Camp this week.

The four-day camp, which runs until tomorrow (July 12), attracted 75 campers from over eight states.

Girls from Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and West Virginia attended the camp.

"We had a fantastic turnout for the volleyball camp," noted Wheeler. "We had 75 campers in all consisting mainly of overnighters and some commuters. The age range was 10-18. The level of play ranged from beginners to advanced."

The camp was under the direction of Wheeler and Wesleyan assistant coach Jennifer Hefner along with several players from the current volleyball team.

"We thoroughly enjoyed bringing our campers and families to beautiful West Virginia Wesleyan campus," concluded Wheeler. "May God continue to bless our program and players!!"
