Fairmont State, which earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament last season, was picked second in the poll with 107 points and one first-place vote. The University of Charleston was close behind FSU in third with 103 points.
West Liberty was slotted fourth with 88 points, with Urbana being picked fifth with 84 points. Notre Dame was tabbed sixth (61 points), followed by Concord (58), UVa-Wise (45), Shepherd (44), West Virginia Wesleyan (39), West Virginia State (31) and Glenville State (11).
