Volleyball Team Drops Two at Edinboro Tournament

EDINBORO (Pa.) – It was a rough second day for the West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat volleyball team in the Rebich Investments Invitational at Edinboro (Pa.) University.

Wesleyan dropped a 3-1 decision to Edinboro (25-14, 25-12, 24-26 and 25) in the morning and came back and lost a 3-0 decision to Walsh (Ohio) (25-14, 25-21 and 25-14).

The two losses left Nancy Wheeler's club with a 0-4 record.

Against Edinboro, Emily Doyle and Hannah King each had 10 kills while Hannah Bradford had a contest-high 35 digs.

In their outing with Walsh, Doyle and King again led the team in kills with six apiece.

Bradford had a team-high 14 digs.

Wesleyan will return to action this Friday in the Concord Classic.

They will play Salem International at 1 p.m. and then Concord at 7 p.m.

On Saturday they will face Shaw at 1 p.m. and West Virginia Tech at 5 p.m.
